Kita Mailer was born out of our need for an email marketing platform that was not dependent on expensive and limited third parties. We believe in freedom of customization, so we built it as open source software from day one.

Our focus is on creating an application that is simple, portable, yet reliable. Today, Kita Mailer has evolved into a mature Software as a Service (SaaS) platform, complete with billing features, subscriptions, and rebranding capabilities for you to offer to your clients.

What are the server requirements for installing Kita Mailer?

To run Kita Mailer, you need a server with PHP version 7.4 or newer, a MySQL or MariaDB database, and some common PHP extensions such as PDO, cURL, and OpenSSL. Almost all modern shared hosting packages and VPS already meet these requirements, but we still recommend checking our documentation page for a complete list.

Can I import my existing email contact list?

Of course! You can easily import contacts from a CSV file via the ‘Contacts > Import’ menu. Our system also supports field mapping so that data such as first name, last name, city, or join date can be imported correctly into the system.

Are there any monthly fees or other hidden costs?

No. Kita Mailer is software that you purchase with a one-time payment for a lifetime license. That payment includes free updates for future versions and 6 months of technical support. The only additional cost is the cost of your own hosting/server.

What if I don't want to use my own server to send emails?

No problem. Kita Mailer is designed to integrate with various popular third-party SMTP services such as Amazon SES, SendGrid, Mailgun, and others. You can connect your accounts from these services to Kita Mailer and take advantage of their high email delivery rates while still managing all your campaigns from our platform.
